Product Introduction

 

The GUL series (GUL30, GUL50, GUL70) intrinsically safe sensors are 26GHz high-frequency microwave pulse radar level meters. They emit electromagnetic waves of approximately 11mm through the radar antenna system. These waves are focused through a horn antenna and form reflections on the material surface, which are then received back by the antenna system. Since the transmission speed of electromagnetic waves is equivalent to the speed of light, the emission to reception is almost instantaneous. The radar emits and receives about 80 times per second, and through the microprocessor of the radar control system, it calculates the time difference between the transmitted wave and the received wave by averaging. By computing with internal software, it converts the calculated time difference into the distance from the radar zero point to the material level, thereby achieving continuous measurement of the material level.

 

Device Function

 

The sensor collects the height of the measured object and outputs a 4-20mA analog current signal, which can be directly connected to an automation system (such as PLC/DCS/digital display meters, etc.) to realize automatic control of tank area material levels.

  • Height measurement range: 0~70m (0-30m, 0~50m).
