Wired telephone
The telephone has the function of converting the sound waves of the terminal into electronic signals, transmitting them to distant parties through telephone lines, and reproducing the electronic signals transmitted by the other party into voice (sound waves) for communication. It also sends signals (dialing pulses) that can be selected from multiple parties to inform them of the call tone. A telephone is composed of a transmitter that converts speech into electrical current and sends it to a telephone line, a receiver that converts the electrical current transmitted by the other party into speech, a dial or button for calling the other party, a ringtone for sending call sounds, and a network of lines that connect these to the telephone line to perform their functions. There is a small box filled with carbon particles inside the transmitter, and a thin hard aluminum alloy vibrating plate in front of it. The vibrating plate vibrates carbon particles based on speech, and the carbon particles conduct current. As the particles come into contact, the resistance changes, generating speech current. After receiving the voice current from the other party, the receiver generates a magnetic force on the coil caused by the voice current, vibrates the iron vibrating plate, and emits sound.
