How to Adjust the Sensitivity of a Vibration Sensor?

I. Sensitivity Adjustment Steps
1. Enter the Settings Menu
Enter the teaching mode via the "set" button on the device panel, select the "Pro" menu, and confirm.
2. Adjust Sensitivity Parameters
In the "sen" (sensitivity) submenu, modify the value using the plus and minus keys (e.g., adjust from the default value of 10 to 24), and save the settings after confirmation.
3. Calibration and Verification
Absolute Calibration Method: Fix the frequency and amplitude on a standard vibration table, measure the actual value using a laser vibrometer or reading microscope, and calculate the sensitivity (output quantity corresponding to unit displacement/velocity/acceleration).
Relative Calibration Method: Install the sensor to be calibrated and a standard sensor back-to-back, and compare the output signals through the vibration table to determine the sensitivity.
II. Troubleshooting Common Problems
Zero-point drift: Replace the high-temperature resistant sealing ring (such as fluororubber), and calibrate the mounting surface using a laser level (angle deviation <0.5°).
Electromagnetic interference: Run the signal wire through a galvanized steel pipe and ground both ends, and add a copper shielding cover.
Installation stress: Gradually increase the bolt torque (6N·m → 12N·m), and grind the base to a roughness of Ra≤1.6μm.
III. Precautions
When exiting the menu, you need to press the minus key for 3 seconds to return step by step.
In high-temperature environments (>80℃), it is recommended to use a charge output type sensor and regularly check the resistance value of the thermistor.
Sensitivity calibration should be performed within the frequency range allowed by the equipment; sensitivity may decrease at high frequencies.
