🔴 Step 1: Explosion-proof On-site Operation (Safety First, Unauthorized Opening of Covers Strictly Prohibited)
1. Immediate Power Disconnection and Isolation: Directly disconnect the power supply to the equipment from the distribution box outside the explosion-proof area. It is strictly forbidden to unplug the device or pull cables within the danger zone to prevent short circuits and sparks that could cause safety accidents.
2. Establish Warning Signs: Hang a "Faulty and Out of Service" warning sign at the equipment's installation location and isolate unauthorized personnel to prevent accidental contact.
3. Safely Transfer the Equipment: Disassemble the entire camera and transfer it to a non-explosion-proof safe area (such as a repair workshop or office) before proceeding with the subsequent opening of the cover.
Step 2: Draining and Dehumidifying in the Safe Area After transfer, follow these steps to salvage the equipment to the greatest extent possible:
1. Open the Cover and Drain Accumulated Water: Open the explosion-proof housing and thoroughly pour out any remaining water. Gently absorb any visible water on the housing and circuit board surfaces with a lint-free soft cloth. Do not rub components vigorously to avoid damaging solder joints.
2. Gentle Drying and Dehumidification: Use a professional drying oven at 40-50℃ for 4-8 hours if a drying oven is unavailable. If a drying oven is unavailable, seal the equipment and sufficient silica gel desiccant in a moisture-proof box and let it stand for 24 hours to absorb moisture. Do not use a hairdryer at high temperatures, as this will damage the circuit board and sensors.
3. Check for Corrosion: After drying, carefully inspect the circuit board and terminals. If obvious rust spots, verdigris, or blackening of components appear, the corrosion is irreversible, and continued use is not recommended.
4. Seal Replacement is Mandatory: Even if the machine functions normally during testing, replace the seal with a brand new explosion-proof and waterproof sealing ring, reapply waterproof silicone grease, and restore the seal before reinstalling it in the field.
⚠️ Final Handling Principles:
1. If the water ingress is short-lived and minimal, and the machine functions normally after drying and seal replacement, it can be reused.
2. If the water ingress is severe, the circuit board is corroded, or the machine still does not function properly after drying, replacing the entire machine is safer. Repairing is less cost-effective and cannot guarantee explosion-proof performance.
