I. Preparation and Safety Confirmation Before Cleaning

1. Power Off Operation: Disconnect the equipment power supply in a safe area to prevent electrical sparks during cleaning and ensure compliance with explosion-proof safety requirements.

2. Environmental Risk Check: Confirm that the environment is free of flammable and explosive gases during cleaning. Avoid disassembly or wiping in hazardous areas.

3. Prepare Specialized Tools:
Blower (for removing loose dust)
Soft-bristled lens brush (for removing adhering substances)
Microfiber cloth or lens paper (for wiping only)
Lens cleaning solution (test lens solution). Do not use alcohol or other corrosive liquids in direct contact with the lens.

II. Step-by-Step Cleaning Process

1. Initial Dust Removal: Use a blower to repeatedly blow air across the lens surface to remove loose dust. If residue remains, gently sweep with a lens brush; do not press forcefully.

2. Treating Stubborn Stains

For oil stains, watermarks, or carbon ash:

Apply a small amount of lens cleaner to a microfiber cloth or lens paper (never apply directly to the lens); Gently wipe in a spiral motion from the center of the lens outwards, avoiding scratching the coating; Repeat 2-3 times until the surface is clean.

3. Cleaning Edges and Shielding

Use a cotton swab dampened with a small amount of cleaner to clean the edges and crevices of the lens; Check the shielding for dust or fogging, and clean it if necessary.

4. Completing Protection
Immediately replace the protective shield after cleaning to prevent secondary contamination, and ensure the O-ring seal is intact and the connections are secure.

III. Key Precautions

1. Do not wipe the lens with your hands, ordinary paper towels, or clothing to avoid leaving fingerprints or causing irreversible scratches.

2. Do not clean while the device is running, especially avoid inserting or removing memory cards or interfaces while the device is powered on.

3. If you find that the lens is fogging, the coating is peeling off, or wiping is ineffective, stop using it and return it to the factory for repair. Do not disassemble it yourself.

4. For daily storage, it is recommended to place it in a dry box to prevent moisture from causing the lens to mold.

⚠️ Special Reminder: Never try to pick at the dirt on the lens element with your hands! (Repeated three times for emphasis)
